A ring that arrives with complete conviction. At its centre, a large oval tanzanite cabochon — deep, domed, violet-blue and entirely its own — held in a wide bezel of 18-karat brushed yellow gold that rises from a substantial, architecturally carved band. Around the bezel, four small coral cabochons sit at the cardinal points, round and warm, the red-orange against the violet-blue a combination that should not work quite so perfectly, and does.
This is a ring with presence. It does not compete with what surrounds it — it simply ends the conversation.
